Outlook Express 5Setup Information Before you begin, there is some information you will need to have handy to setup your email client. Mail Server names: POP3: mail.YourDomain.com SENDING EMAIL: In the event you use our SMTP services we will email you instructions on how to connect to our servers. Username and Password: Usually The RBDI Group's customer's usernames will be the first part of your email address. So if your email address is "somebody@example.net" Your username will be "somebody." Setup Once you have Outlook Express open, Click on Tools on the menu on the top. Click on Accounts.

Click on the Mail tab to view any accounts already setup. If you are no longer using them you can remove them by clicking on unused account to highlight it and click on the Delete button. Click on the New button to begin.

Fill out the Display name field with the name you would like to appear when sending email. Click on the triangle pointing to the right to continue.

Enter in your email address. Click on the triangle pointing to the right to continue.

Using the pull down menu, ensure that the field for "My incoming mail server is a,” is POP3. For Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server Type in the mail server names in lowercase letters only. (see above for names) Click on the triangle pointing to the right to continue.

For the Account ID, fill in your username. Fill in your password. If you do not want to type in your password every time you check your email, place a check in the box next to "Remember password." Click on the triangle pointing to the right to continue.

Account Name can be anything you would like to name this account as. Once you click on Finish, you are ready to check you email.
