Outlook 2007
Setup Information
Before you begin, there is some information you will need to have
handy to setup your email client.
Mail Server names:
POP3: mail.YourDomain.com
SMTP: this is provided by your ISP. Contact us for further
assistance.
SENDING EMAIL:
In the event you use our SMTP services we will email you
instructions on how to connect to our servers.
Username and Password:
Usually The RBDI Group's customer's usernames will be the first
part of your email address. So if your email address is "somebody@example.net"
Your username will be "somebody."
Setup
- Once you have Outlook 2007 open, click on tools
on the menu at the top.
- Click on Account Settings.

- Select New button under the "E-mail" tab

- Click the check box at the bottom next to Manually
Configure server settings or additional server types
and click Next.

- Select Internet E-mail and click
Next.

- For Your Name, enter the name you wish to
show up when you send emails.
- For E-mail address, enter your full email
address.
- Select POP3 for the Account Type.
- For Incoming mail server and
Outgoing mail server (SMTP), enter the mail server
names. (See above for names)
- Enter your full email address for the User Name.
- If you do not want to be prompted for your password every
time you check your email, enter your password
in the Password field and check the Remember password
box.
- Click Next.

- Click Finish.
