Setup Information

Before you begin, there is some information you will need to have handy to setup your email client.

Mail Server names:

POP3: mail.YourDomain.com
SMTP: this is provided by your ISP. Contact us for further assistance.

SENDING EMAIL:

In the event you use our SMTP services we will email you instructions on how to connect to our servers.

Username and Password:

Usually The RBDI Group's customer's usernames will be the first part of your email address. So if your email address is "somebody@example.net" Your username will be "somebody."

Setup

If you are running Eudora for the first time, a Wizard my appear. You can follow along with the Wizard to setup your email account, or you can click on the Cancel button and follow along below.

• To begin, click on tools and go to Options.
• Once the Options window opens, click on the icon on the left labeled Getting Started.
• Fill in the information Below.
  • Real Name = Your name as you wish it to appear when you send email.
  • Return Address = Fill in your email address here.
  • Mail Server(incoming) = fill in the mail sever in all lowercase letters. See above for your server name.
  • Login Name = fill in your username here. Usually the first part of your email address. (See Above)
  • SMTP Server (outgoing) = Use the same server name as you did for Incoming.
    
    For the Allow Authentication Field, you can leave it blank.
• Click on OK.
